2024 “Other Delights” lineup

11.07.24

Here are the Other Delights for this final edition of the CHIRP Record Fair:

Starting out bright and early? Grab some hot coffee or cold brew from Spiritus.

Enjoy empanadas from Cafe Tola and limited edition Crate Digger Brown Ale from Illuminated Brew Works (plus wine, soda and selzer as well)

Our own DJ Stevo of the Friday Afternoon Happy Hour will be doing a Vinyl 101 workshop at 11am.

We have a great DJ lineup, including founding Record Fair Director Mary Nisi, Cole's owner and early Record Fair Co-Director Dustin Drase, Heart of Chicago Soul Club, and Jill Hopkins!

Upstairs in the balcony, we'll have kids activities like record collages and design your own album covers.

Stroll back in time as you check out our poster display from our previous Fairs -- and buy a vintage poster to take home!

All day long, we'll have local artists selling and signing at our merch table. including PINKSQUEEZE, Half Gringa, Serengeti, Ariel Zetina, Moon Mannequin, SiP, PROBLEMS, Blue Ribbon Glee Club and Vinto Van Go.

We're grateful to Treehouse Records for their generous support of the Record Fair!

Featuring a wide variety of spaces, bands, artists, producers and orchestras of any size can comfortably be accommodated.

The Andersonville Vintage Market joins the CHIRP Record Fair!

10.09.23

We're so happy to announce that the Andersonville Vintage Market curated by Fad2Fresh will be joining us on the lower level of Plumbers Hall!

They'll have several dozen vendors on hand selling clothing, homewares, furnishings and much more.

Shop for vinyl upstairs and vintage finds downstairs! It's a full day of action!

We’re Happy to Be Back at Pitchfork!

9.02.21

Obviously it's been a stressful eighteen months, and things still feel pretty weird. But thanks to vaccines, we feel like we can do a safe, fun version of our Record Fair at Pitchfork this year!

We're adding more fans than usual under our open air tent canopy, and will have sanitation stations available. Our vendors will be arranged to allow for more space throughout. Please treat our vendors with respect and wear a mask while shopping!

We look forward to seeing you -- and live music! -- September 10-12.

We’ll see you in 2021

7.15.20

Unfortunately, there's no way to have an indoor Record Fair during a global pandemic.

We're cancelling the 2020 CHIRP Record Fair & Other Delights.

We'll be watching how things shape up over the next couple of months and will be figuring out a time when we can get together safely and shop for records in 2021. We'll let you know.

Meanwhile, please stay safe and well -- and support your local record stores and independent labels!
